B Value and Wellbeing Programme for Bonitas members presented and operated by Agile Alternative Business Solutions

1.  Context

The B Value and Wellbeing Programme (referred to as “B” or “Programme”) is brought to Bonitas members (and where applicable, their duly registered dependants) (“members”) by Agile Alternative Business Solutions (“Agile”). These Terms and Conditions apply to members in good standing who elect to participate in the Programme. By registering for the Programme, members agree to, consent and are bound by these Terms and Conditions until terminated in accordance herewith.

2.  Eligibility to join B

• B is available to principal members and registered dependants of the Bonitas Medical Fund (“Bonitas / Scheme”) who are in good standing.
• Participation is voluntary and may be terminated at any time.
• Members are not obliged to take up or make use of partner offers/vouchers issued to them.

3.  The B Objectives

B aims to support and reward members’ general wellbeing through:

• Discounts negotiated on their behalf with partners of the Programme;
• Issuing of vouchers to members redeemable at health partners, after members have complied with the criteria which may be applicable, and which criteria may include the participation in health-related activities such as health risk assessments; and
• Promoting incentives stimulating healthy living.

4.  Data Protection and Consent

• By participating in B, members consent to access and processing of their data, personal and health information for the purposes of the Programme.
• The data and information will be used to:
  • Track wellness activity/participation
  • Award appropriate rewards
  • Communicate Programme updates
  • Develop and improve B over time serving the interests of members
  • Monitor and track member activities to enable the Programme to offer more tailored benefits to the member;
  • Generally, to use the data for allowing the member to optimally participate in the Programme and to allow access to the rewards and benefits forming part of the Programme.
• Data and information are processed in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (“POPIA”) where such processing may include the processing of personal information or special personal information as contemplated in POPIA.

5.  The B Rules

• The Programme rules will evolve over time, and members are required to familiarise themselves with the most recent rules and requirements as they become available.
• Required activities to be completed within the specified timeframe to qualify for rewards.
• Agile reserves the right to verify activities and/or terminate continued participation at its sole discretion.

• Rewards are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.

• Fraudulent or dishonest behaviour may lead to disqualification.

6.  Changes to B

The B participation terms and / or conditions may be amended or terminated at any time, with reasonable notice to members. Agile reserves the right to amend, modify, or otherwise vary and augment these Rules in its sole discretion, and the publication of such amendment, modification or variation shall cause them to become binding upon the members.

Participation in B does not constitute medical advice or guarantee any health outcomes. Members are advised to consult with their healthcare providers on all medical related matters. B is designed to promote and assist healthy living. It remains the responsibility of each member to obtain independent medical advice on any health-related decision. Members participate in the qualifying events at their own risk and neither Agile nor Bonitas shall be liable for any harm which may be caused to a member under any circumstances. Members are urged to take legal, medical, financial or other relevant advice from their own experts prior to embarking on any activity or signing up for any product or service which may be offered to them via the Programme.

8.  Limitation of Liability

Agile shall not be liable for any loss or injury resulting directly or indirectly from participation in any form or shape in B.
